This summary is provided for convenience and is not legally binding.

• BoltBot⚡ is a Discord AI chatbot. You need a Discord account and must be 13+ (NSFW: 18+).
• AI outputs may be wrong. Don't rely on them for critical decisions.
• You own your inputs and AI outputs. We only process them to provide the service.
• Disputes go to binding arbitration (you can opt out within 30 days).

By using BoltBot⚡, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and BoltBot, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. If you don't agree, please don't use BoltBot⚡.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Paid Services Terms, and Refund Policy, form the complete agreement between you and us.

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where GDPR requires) and have a valid Discord account in good standing.

NSFW Features: You must be 18 or olderto access NSFW content, which is only available in Discord's age-restricted channels. By accessing NSFW features, you confirm you're 18+ and that such content is legal where you live.

BoltBot⚡ is a Discord bot that connects you to AI models from OpenAI (GPT), Google (Gemini), xAI (Grok), and Cloudflare Workers AI. Features include AI chat, image generation, web search, file analysis, custom personalities, Voice Agent (AI voice assistant in voice channels powered by Deepgram), and more.

Third-Party Dependencies

BoltBot⚡ requires Discord and third-party AI providers to function. We're not responsible for outages or changes from these services. Your use of Discord is subject to Discord's Terms of Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.

Voice Agent

Voice Agent allows BoltBot⚡ to join Discord voice channels as an AI voice assistant. When enabled, BoltBot⚡ listens for wake words and responds using AI-generated speech. Voice processing is provided by Deepgram.

By using Voice Agent, you acknowledge that:(i) audio from the voice channel is transmitted to Deepgram for speech-to-text processing; (ii) audio from all participants in the channel may be processed while Voice Agent is active; (iii) you are responsible for informing other channel participants that their audio may be processed; (iv) Voice Agent features are subject to Deepgram's availability and terms.

You access BoltBot⚡through Discord OAuth2. You're responsible for your account security and all activity under your account. If you provide API keys for premium features, you're responsible for any costs and keeping them secure.

No Account Sharing:Your account is personal to you. Don't share your login credentials, API keys, or allow others to access your account. Each user must have their own account.

BoltBot⚡ offers free and paid tiers. All payment details—billing, auto-renewal, cancellation, usage limits—are in our Paid Services Terms. Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy. Payments are processed by Stripe per Stripe's Terms.

Acceptable Use

When using BoltBot⚡, you agree to use our service responsibly and in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You must also comply with our AI providers' policies: OpenAI, Google, xAI, and Cloudflare Workers AI.

Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use BoltBot⚡ to:

• Violate any law or promote illegal activity
• Harass, bully, threaten, or discriminate against anyone
• Generate malware, phishing content, spam, or fraudulent material
• Share harmful, illegal, or offensive content through the bot
• Spread misinformation, especially about elections or public health
• Violate privacy rights, stalk, or doxx anyone
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property
• Impersonate others or misrepresent AI-generated content as human-created
• Attempt to bypass safety mechanisms, jailbreak, or circumvent filters
• Extract, replicate, or train AI models using BoltBot⚡'s outputs or underlying data
• Use automated systems to abuse, overload, or scrape data from our services
• Reverse engineer, modify, or interfere with the bot's functionality
• Resell access or develop competing products using our service
• Use Voice Agent to record, capture, or store audio of other users without their knowledge or consent
• Activate Voice Agent in channels where participants have not been informed that audio may be processed

Community Standards

BoltBot⚡ is designed to enhance Discord communities. We expect users to respect other community members and maintain a positive environment when interacting with our AI assistant.

AI Processing

BoltBot⚡ uses GPT, Gemini, Grok, and Cloudflare Workers AI to generate responses. Your conversations are processed by third-party AI providers. By using our service, you acknowledge your interactions may be processed by these providers subject to their privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Data Handling

We collect and process minimal data necessary for service functionality, including Discord user IDs, server IDs, and conversation context. Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and industry best practices.

Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you create through BoltBot⚡. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service. AI-generated outputs belong to you, but similar content may be generated for others, and IP protection isn't guaranteed. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Service Availability

The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. Response times and quality may vary. We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted availability.

Sensitive Data Warning

Don't submit sensitive data like passwords, financial accounts, health information, government IDs, or confidential information—these are transmitted to third-party AI providers.

Content Moderation

BoltBot⚡ includes automated content filtering and safety measures. We reserve the right to monitor conversations for abuse, violations of these terms, or to improve service quality.

If you add BoltBot⚡ to a Discord server, you are responsible for:

• Notifying members when BoltBot⚡ processes their messages
• Obtaining any required consent—BoltBot⚡ doesn't do this for you
• Ensuring NSFW features are only enabled in age-restricted channels
• Ensuring your server's use complies with all applicable terms

You accept liability for violations that occur in your server.

Data Protection

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Third-Party Services

BoltBot⚡ integrates with Discord and AI services from OpenAI, Google, xAI, and Cloudflare. Your use is also subject to Discord's Termsand each AI provider's policies. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Privacy Rights

For detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data, please review our Privacy Policy. You have certain rights regarding your personal data, which are outlined there.

Governing Law

Delaware law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict of law principles. For disputes not subject to arbitration, you consent to exclusive jurisdiction in the state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.

Informal Resolution First

Before filing any formal dispute, please email support@boltbot.app and try to resolve it informally for at least 30 days. We take all concerns seriously and will work with you to find a solution.

Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in English, and the arbitrator's decision is final and binding. The arbitrator may award the same relief as a court but only on an individual basis.

Exceptions

Small claims court is available if you qualify. Either party may seek injunctive relief for IP infringement. EU consumers retain statutory rights and may use the EU ODR platform.

As-Is Service

BoltBot⚡is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate.

Liability Cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the greater of: (a) what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from: (i) your use of BoltBot⚡; (ii) violations of these Terms or any law; (iii) content you create or submit; (iv) your use of AI outputs; (v) if you're a server admin, use of BoltBot⚡ in your server.

Violation Consequences

Violations of these terms may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your access to BoltBot⚡. We reserve the right to take appropriate action based on the severity of the violation. Serious violations forfeit refund eligibility.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter misuse of BoltBot⚡ or violations of these terms, please report them through our Discord support server at discord.gg/bolt. We take all reports seriously and investigate them promptly.

Appeals Process

If you believe your access was suspended in error, you may appeal by contacting support@boltbot.app with relevant details and evidence.

Entire Agreement: These Terms plus our Privacy Policy, Paid Services Terms, and Refund Policy are the complete agreement.

Severability: If any provision is invalid, it will be modified minimally; the rest remains in effect.

Waiver: Not enforcing a provision doesn't waive our right to enforce it later.

Assignment: You can't assign these Terms; we can assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition.

Force Majeure: We're not liable for failures due to circumstances beyond our control.

Communications: You consent to receive electronic communications from us via email or Discord.

Survival: The following sections survive termination: Content Ownership (Service & Data), Dispute Resolution, Disclaimers & Liability, Enforcement, and General Terms.

No Third-Party Beneficiaries: These Terms don't give rights to anyone except you and us.

Relationship: Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency, employment, or joint venture between you and us.

Headings: Section headings are for convenience only and don't affect interpretation.

Export Compliance: You may not use BoltBot⚡ if you're in a country subject to U.S. sanctions or are on any U.S. government prohibited party list.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll provide 30 days' notice via the Service, website, Discord, or email. Continuing to use BoltBot⚡ after changes take effect means you accept them.
